Great flashlight. Almost too bright! Have to use it on the lower settings. The light focus attachment works very well too! People say you can only use it on dark stuff like black paper. But on high setting you can start a fire with some twine rope. Or at least get a nice ember going. Only bad thing I would say is that if you are using it on medium or high for too long it gets really hot. Overall great light

I bought this as an inexpensive flashlight for an overseas trip and have been happy by how well it works. It is small and light, but puts out a bright beam that is more than enough for walking outside at night. The light pattern is square instead of round, which looks a little different than a traditional flashlight, but it does not affect how usable it is for me.
In terms of battery life, I switched to brand name batteries when I got it and have used it for 3-4 hours since and its still as bright as new. I do have some older LED flashlights that went through batteries very quickly when stored, this one does not.
